Job Title: Hepatologist Specialist

Mount Sinai South Nassau is seeking a skilled Hepatologist Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, personalized care to patients with liver disease in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating and treating patients with liver disease, including assessing and managing liver function and disease progression.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Conducting research and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in hepatology to improve patient outcomes.
  • Teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows in hepatology and gastroenterology.
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree from an accredited university.
  • New York medical license or ability to obtain one.
  • Board certification or eligibility in gastroenterology.
  • Completion of an accredited gastroenterology fellowship.
  • Preferred: completion of an advanced hepatology fellowship.
