Job Description

Mount Sinai South Nassau is seeking a skilled Hepatologist to join our team. As a key member of our Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, you will provide high-quality, personalized care to patients with liver disease in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and manage patients with liver disease, including those requiring GI procedures with a focus on Hepatology.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Contribute to the Center's goals of delivering high-quality clinical care, research, teaching, and community outreach.
  • Assist in identifying strategic opportunities and implementing quality improvements.
  • Teach GI fellows, residents, and students.
Qualifications:
  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University.
  • New York Medical License or ability to obtain one.
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • Completed an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.
  • Completion of an advanced Hepatology Fellowship (Preferred).
