Hepatologist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Hepatologist Specialist to join our team at Mount Sinai South Nassau. As a key member of our Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, personalized care to patients with liver disease in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Evaluating and treating patients with liver disease, including assessing and managing liver function and disease progression.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Conducting GI procedures, including endoscopies and biopsies, to diagnose and manage liver disease.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families on liver disease management and prevention.

• Medical degree from an accredited university.
• New York medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship.
• Preferred: Completion of an advanced Hepatology fellowship.
