Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Arts Programs Manager to join our team at Business Council for the Arts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing various arts programs, including the Leadership Arts Institute, Leadership Arts Alumni, On My Own Time, and Art at Work Exhibits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement program strategies to foster business support of the arts and promote employee creativity and engagement.
  • Manage program logistics, including event planning, scheduling, promotion, and communication.
  • Work closely with the COO and Head of Programs to plan and facilitate the Leadership Arts Institute program.
  • Recruit and manage class members, speakers, and vendors for the LAI program.
  • Develop and implement a class project aligned with the BCA mission.
  • Manage program communications, surveys, and evaluations.
  • Ensure program quality and encourage further participation.
  • Manage program finances, including donations and recognition.
  • Serve as a liaison to the LAA Steering Committee and manage the BCA database for LAI and LAA members.
  • Support the development and implementation of the On My Own Time program, including recruitment, planning, and execution.
  • Manage the Art at Work Exhibits program, including artist research, exhibition materials, and artist communication.
  • Execute best social media practices and manage the BCA website to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in arts administration, program development, and event planning. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for this role. The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a passion for the arts and business partnerships.
