Job Summary

The Asset Mobility Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the safe and efficient transport of turbine engines between site locations. This role ensures that all logistical aspects of the relocation process are meticulously planned and executed, minimizing downtime and ensuring timely delivery of assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops and executes detailed logistical plans for the safe and efficient transport of turbine power, reciprocating power, and hybridization units between site locations.
  • Coordinates with site teams, transportation providers, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless asset relocation.
  • Oversees the preparation and inspection of equipment before transportation, ensuring all units are ready for safe movement.
  • Monitors and manages the transport process, ensuring that all operations comply with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Coordinates the mobilization and demobilization of assets, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Enforces strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures during the loading, transport, and unloading of assets.
  • Conducts risk assessments and implements mitigation strategies to ensure safe handling of all equipment.
  • Maintains clear and continuous communication with site teams, transportation providers, and other stakeholders throughout the relocation process.
  • Addresses and resolves any logistical or operational issues that arise during the transport process, minimizing delays and ensuring safe delivery of assets.
  • Works closely with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot any technical issues related to the transport of specialized equipment.
  • Analyzes transport operations and recommends improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize the deployment of assets across multiple locations.
  • Implements best practices for the movement and storage of diverse power generation units, ensuring operational readiness.
  • Maintains accurate records of all asset movements, including transportation schedules, maintenance logs, and safety inspections.
  • Ensures that all documentation is properly filed and accessible for audits and regulatory reviews.
Requirements
  • Ability to Travel
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of previous experience in Power Generation
  • Knowledge of Power Generation Equipment Operations
  • Ability to attend, participate, and successfully complete the scheduled New Hire Safety training, including but not limited to H2S, Powered Industrial, and basic First Aid and CPR training
  • Attends and successfully completes annual safety and operations recertification training
  • Knowledgeable and compliant with digital platforms including Active Learner, Paycom, KPA, company platforms
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
