Position Overview:

The Chargeback Analyst II is tasked with the prompt examination and validation of debit memos submitted for chargebacks via Model N Flex, ensuring complete precision. The role involves rectifying chargeback discrepancies, engaging with wholesalers on a daily basis, and overseeing chargeback accounts, which collectively contribute to significant annual chargeback figures. Accurate chargeback issuance is crucial for maintaining reliable indirect sales data, which is essential for sales, customer incentives, and profitability assessments. The analyst will conduct account analyses using internal reporting tools to pinpoint error and dollar trends, subsequently reporting findings to management.

Travel Requirements: Minimal

Key Responsibilities: Percentage of Time

· Conduct daily analyses of chargeback transactions to ensure accurate issuance within a 3-5 day timeframe in the Model N Flex system. The primary analyst will be responsible for investigating chargeback discrepancies to proactively address systematic issues with accounts and provide account analysis for management review. 30%

· Demonstrate client interface skills relevant to communication through various channels. This individual will serve as the main contact for customers, national account managers, and inter-departmental teams (pricing, accounts receivable, government pricing, finance, returns, rebates, IT, and EDI). Act as the lead expert in all aspects of wholesaler accounts, identifying potential issues that could result in revenue loss and notifying management with suggested solutions. 20%

· Analyze and report on indirect sales data to Client Account Managers, Branded Business Unit, and Government Pricing teams. Identify trends related to wholesaler chargeback submissions and communicate the implications to management. Proficiency in Excel is required. 10%

· Cultivate relationships with wholesalers by providing error trend data to resolve discrepancies and prevent revenue loss. Lead regular conference calls with wholesalers, preparing agendas, coordinating with participants, documenting meeting notes, and ensuring all follow-up actions are completed. 15%

· Evaluate customer deductions to ascertain validity and collaborate closely with the Accounts Receivable team to assist in resolving chargeback deduction reconciliation issues. 5%

· Serve as the primary contact for Sox, PWC, external audits, and internal audits (functional audit team). Investigate and analyze all audit claims to resolution, providing documentation to support outcomes. Work in conjunction with the Rebates team to reconcile discrepancies between rebate claims and chargeback indirect sales to identify potential revenue loss. 15%

· Identify issues within Model N and EDI systems, coordinating with Client IT/EDI and wholesaler IT/EDI to expedite resolutions. Summarize issues for tracking and presentation to management. 5%
