Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced nurse who can provide top-notch care to our pediatric patients in the ICU. As a Registered Nurse - Pediatric ICU, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the hospital's mission to provide excellent healthcare services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, applying the nursing process, critical thinking skills, and scientific judgment to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes, including communication, confidence, and professionalism.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and leadership skills as a resource to the patient care team.
  • Accountable for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing within the hospital.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of PICU experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course and Certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course and Certification.
