As a Veterinary Imaging Technician at Ethos Veterinary Health, you will play a crucial role in our AAHA accredited facility, providing essential imaging services for our diverse range of specialties including cardiology, dermatology, emergency care, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be tasked with:
- Executing CT scans as per clinician directives to capture diagnostic images of canine and feline patients.
- Adjusting imaging parameters and ensuring proper patient positioning.
- Collaborating with clinicians to enhance scan techniques for superior image quality.
- Reviewing relevant medical records to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintaining a sterile and safe CT environment by controlling access and disinfecting equipment between uses.
- Conducting routine quality assurance checks on CT equipment and promptly reporting any issues.
- Staying updated on the latest CT trends through continuing education and certification.
- Performing additional duties as required.
Compensation:
Compensation varies based on experience and skill set:
- Veterinary Assistant: $17-$24 hourly
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT): $23-$33 hourly
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of veterinary clinical experience in a related position.
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to building long-term relationships with colleagues and clients.
- A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a 4/10 work schedule.
