Strategic Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Executive to join our national sales team at Tyndale Company, Inc. This role requires an experienced sales professional with a strong track record of success in hunting and selling technical products.
The successful candidate will be responsible for seeking, selling, and implementing Tyndale's Managed Programs for new customers across various industries, including electric utilities, oil and gas, transportation, and more.
This is a fully remote opportunity with as-needed travel for onsite meetings with customers and industry events. Candidates located in or near major metropolitan areas with international airports are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pursue and sell arc-rated and flame-resistant clothing and managed apparel programs within designated territories, including daily prospecting activities, sales lead follow-through, and collaboration with key brand representatives.
- Maintain high product knowledge to effectively demonstrate features and benefits of all products, differentiating Tyndale in presentations and RFPs.
- Meet with prospects to provide presentations and demonstrations on our products and services.
- Follow Tyndale's Strategic Selling Process (SSP) on large opportunities, working closely with the Sales Director and/or Vice President of Sales to plan sales strategies.
- Follow through with all leads provided from tradeshows, events, vendors, customer referrals, new market research, and record sales activity in Salesforce.
- Meet/exceed annual performance sales goals, focusing on large account strategic hunting and long-term relationship management.
- Properly prepare Field Sales teams for events and accompany large new implementations.
- Collaborate with the forecasting team for planning and projections.
- Manage efficiency in travel for territory success and support Tyndale tradeshows and events.
- Fully support established corporate and sales initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of consultative selling experience, preferably with technical products.
- Strong hunting skills with a strategic selling approach to win new business.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Ability to travel nationally 50% or as needed, maintaining a current valid driver's license.
- Strong computer skills, proficient in MS Office, and prior experience using CRM software.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, producing results, and understanding complex information.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, building effective relationships.
- Ability to learn quickly and reside in a major metropolitan area near an international airport.
Estimated Salary:$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
