  • This role requires extensive collaboration across multiple departments, particularly with the Go To Market Reporting & Analytics team, to convert manual data processes into a fully automated framework that guarantees precision.
  • Your expertise will be crucial in shifting our data management practices from manual to automated systems, improving operational efficiency, accuracy, and strategic decision-making throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Senior Data Insights Architect will lead the formulation and implementation of extensive automation strategies that align with the organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Conduct thorough analyses and optimize current reporting workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies and automation prospects.
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure automation solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing reporting and IT systems.
  • In a leadership capacity, mentor a team of reporting automation engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous enhancement based on performance metrics and constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including go-to-market, IT, Business Operations, Reporting, Marketing, Product Owners, Finance, and Billing & Collections, to identify and execute automation and analytical opportunities that fulfill business requirements.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation, adherence to security protocols, and the application of best practices while managing relationships with potential automation tool vendors and service providers.
  • Accountable for developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to monitor the impact of automation initiatives, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Automation Strategy Development:

  • Formulate and execute thorough reporting automation and analytical strategies that align with the organization’s objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize automation opportunities across diverse reporting processes and systems.

Analysis and Metrics:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor Go to Market activities.
  • Present analyses and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Provide in-depth insights and suggest process enhancements based on data findings.

Process Analysis and Improvement:

  • Oversee the evaluation of existing reporting and IT processes to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
  • Guide the design and optimization of workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce manual efforts, and minimize errors.

Automation Solutions Oversight:

  • Supervise the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions utilizing appropriate tools and technologies.
  • Ensure that automation solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
  • Provide direction, support, and professional development opportunities to team members.

Tool Integration Management:

  • Oversee the integration of automation tools with existing reporting and IT systems.
  • Ensure seamless integration of automation solutions with monitoring and logging systems.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously assess and evaluate the performance of automated processes.
  • Implement enhancements and updates to automation solutions based on feedback and performance metrics.

Documentation and Training:

  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of automation processes, workflows, and best practices.
  • Facilitate training and support for staff and stakeholders on the utilization of automation tools and techniques.

Incident and Problem Management:

  • Oversee the troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to automated processes and systems.
  • Engage in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure that automation solutions adhere to security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the implementation of security best practices in the development and deployment of automation scripts and tools.

Vendor and Tool Management:

  • Evaluate and select automation tools and technologies.
  • Manage relationships with automation tool vendors and service providers.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in a similar BI role; leading reporting teams, optimizing business processes, and implementing automation strategies.
  • MUST be HANDS ON.
  • Advanced proficiency in cloud-based data platforms and services (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery).
  • Experience with ETL tools and data integration technologies (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica).
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn, PyTorch).
  • Expertise in data warehousing solutions and data modeling best practices.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Luigi).
  • Proven experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines for data projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of data visualization best practices and PowerBI customization.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate, or Google Professional Data Engineer.
