RN Float Pool Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Alaska Regional Hospital. As a Float Pool Nurse, you will provide individualized comprehensive nursing care to meet the patients' care needs while floating in different units of the hospital.
Responsibilities- Provide the best possible preventative, supportive, and rehabilitative nursing care to each patient based upon the nursing process and in accordance with hospital policy and procedure.
- Assess and plan for individualized patient care, responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient's clinical condition and results of diagnostic studies.
- Participate in process improvement efforts and activities for the department.
- Act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.
- Registered Nurse - State of Alaska
- Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
- Prefer one year of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare facility.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and (ALS or ACLS) and Certification Required.
