We are seeking a friendly and welcoming individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess at Anna's House. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive until their departure.
Key Responsibilities:- Welcome guests as they enter the restaurant and provide a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists to ensure a smooth dining experience.
- Escort guests to the appropriate table or booth and provide menus and silverware as needed.
- Clear dirty dishes and other tableware and bring to the kitchen for cleaning.
- Stock cabinets and serving areas with adequate supplies and maintain a clean lobby area.
- Cater to guests who require extra attention and answer incoming calls and address guest's queries.
- Assist server staff as needed and perform duties of expo/food runner, busser, and takeout/deli server as directed by leadership.
- High school diploma is a plus but not required.
- Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or Waiter/Waitress preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to actively and comfortably engage in conversation with guests.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining area and take initiative to problem solve.
- Excellent attention to detail and familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Ability to regularly stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift, carry, and place up to 30 pounds.
- Must have weekend availability.
- $14 - $16 per hour with included tip share.
