Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting pre-screening of incoming inquiries, communicating with customers, prospects, and internal staff, and handling crop insurance servicing actions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support sales team in areas such as opportunity generation and account maintenance
  • Assist customers with policy questions and requests
  • Act as a final check for policy information prior to document submission
  • Perform initial pre-screening work related to incoming leads and prospect inquiries
  • Assist in generating marketing reports from insurance providers
  • Utilize CRM and insurance provider reports to manage customer relationships and enhance team communication
  • Support sales team with portfolio servicing, including renewals, policy changes, sales closing, production reporting, acreage reporting, and loss claims
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum to two years of experience in a product agricultural (crop) related field
  • Property & Casualty insurance license or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
Preferred Skills
  • Proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills
  • Able to manage challenging customer situations
  • Basic knowledge of products related to crop insurance
  • Agricultural background and/or sufficient knowledge of agricultural and horticultural production technology
