YOUR ROLE:
As a Slot Operations Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing staff and managing daily operations within the Slots department, ensuring that performance and profitability targets are met.
- Coordinating schedules and addressing any concerns to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Assisting in the budgeting process by providing insights and ensuring adherence to financial goals.
- Promoting exceptional customer service in line with company standards and addressing any service-related issues.
- Authorizing jackpot payments as per established protocols.
- Collaborating with the Shift Manager to enhance customer service strategies, optimize Slot floor layout, and manage expenses effectively.
- Engaging with team members to address feedback and concerns, fostering a positive work environment.
- Maintaining accurate records, logs, and communication related to Slot operations.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and reporting any potential issues to management.
- Upholding confidentiality in all departmental matters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To excel in this position, candidates should possess the following:
- A High School diploma or GED; or at least one year of experience in Slot Operations; or two years of customer service management experience; or a combination of education and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Slot operating systems.
- Ability to interact with guests and colleagues effectively, resolving conflicts in a professional manner.
- Capability to draft reports and correspondence.
- Experience in Slot Operations is preferred.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and reporting.
SUPERVISORY DUTIES:
This position may involve supervisory responsibilities, including:
- Developing and implementing staff training programs.
- Managing employee recognition initiatives to enhance engagement.
- Evaluating team performance and providing constructive feedback.
- Assisting in staffing decisions and scheduling to meet operational needs.
- Streamlining work procedures to improve efficiency.
LANGUAGE AND REASONING SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including safety guidelines and operational instructions.
Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATIONS:
Must qualify for necessary licenses and permits as required by regulations. Certification in First Aid/AED and completion of relevant training programs is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The role involves standing for extended periods and handling various physical tasks, including lifting and moving items as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Employees may encounter a lively atmosphere with elevated noise levels and exposure to secondhand smoke.
