About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Test Engineer to join our team in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. As a key member of our Air & Missile Defense Software Department, you will play a critical role in developing software solutions for new system capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Requirements Analysis: Analyze and understand software requirements to ensure clarity and testability.
  • Test Objectives Development: Develop clear and concise test objectives that guide the testing process and ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Test Case Execution: Conduct thorough testing of new and modified software in our on-site lab environment.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze test results in relation to specified requirements and clearly document any discrepancies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other test engineers and developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software products.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in software engineering, validation, verification, requirements analysis, and/or testing.
  • Security Clearance: Active Secret security clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience within Patriot software is highly desirable.
  • Software Development Process: Familiarity with Raytheon software development process is also helpful.
  • Testing Tools: Competence in using various testing tools and methodologies, including scripting and automation tools.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $77,000 - $163,000. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
