Responsibilities:
As a Paramedic Security Specialist (PSS/PARA), you will perform day-to-day personal protective security functions, including interpreter/translator duties as required. You will drive the lead vehicle, principal's vehicle, follow-vehicle, and/or act as a response agent in motorcade or similar operations. You will maintain assigned protective formation positions during principal's walking movements and participate in advance security preparations. You will also man the security post at the principal's residence or mans the command post, or other static post as required.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must be a US citizen with a valid US Passport and US State Driver's License. You must have a Military discharge with an Honorable status and possess current National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification as a Paramedic (NREMT-P). You must also have current approved CPR professional rescuer, ACLS, and advanced trauma training credentials. Additionally, you must have successfully completed the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) course or an equivalent tactical trauma course of at least 16 hours duration within the last 90 days. You must have a minimum of three (3) years of emergency medical services experience and a minimum of three (3) years of applicable work experience gained in the employ of any national, state, provincial, local, or commercial entities providing armed high threat protective services. This experience may be earned concurrently.

What We Offer:
We offer a comprehensive training program, including the PSS training course, and the opportunity to qualify with various firearms and equipment. You will also have the chance to obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance as identified in the task order. We expect this position to be included in the recent federal Executive Order (EO) and subsequent guidance, requiring federal contractors and employers with more than 100 employees to implement a vaccine mandate; therefore, it is expected that anyone hired into this position will need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencement of employment in accordance with the EO and any subsequent guidance, unless an accommodation is legally required.
