Security Clearance Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Security Clearance Specialist to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our personnel security clearance processing team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of personnel security clearance processing, working closely with clients to obtain security clearance approvals, conducting briefings and debriefings, analyzing and estimating clearance processing timelines and eligibility, maintaining clearance records, documenting reportable information, and conducting preemployment security clearance verifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of personnel security clearance processing
- Work closely with clients to obtain security clearance approvals

- Analyze and estimate clearance processing timelines and eligibility
- Maintain clearance records
- Document reportable information
- Conduct preemployment security clearance verifications
Requirements:
- Experience working with Scattered Castles or Defense Information Security System
- Experience presenting reports and briefings to various levels of staff
- Knowledge of Security Executive Agent Directive 4
- Ability to work in a team environment
- TS/SCI clearance
- Associate's degree and 2+ years of experience with personnel security processes and procedures, Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience with personnel security processes and procedures, or 3+ years of experience with personnel security processes and procedures in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with security investigations and pre-screening
- Knowledge of the security requirements for various intelligence community agencies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possession of excellent organizational skills
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary: Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.

If this position is listed as remote or hybrid, you'll periodically work from a Booz Allen or client site facility. If this position is listed as onsite, you'll work with colleagues and clients in person, as needed for the specific role.
