Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and optimize operations, maintenance, and improvement of the Biosolids Management process
  • Analyze operational process control procedures and institute changes when necessary to achieve full compliance with regulatory agency water quality and solids disposal requirements
  • Responsible for accurate operational records and prepare reports required by the client, regulatory agencies, and facility manager

Requirements:

  • CDL and experience with heavy equipment and farm machinery
  • State of New Mexico composting license, Wastewater Treatment Class II or ABC Wastewater Treatment Class II, or experience and education to obtain within 1 year
  • Ability to operate SCADA systems and other computerized equipment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license with no major infractions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • BA/BS degree in environmental science or related field
  • Self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong technical problem-solving skills
  • Capable of working independently and maintaining an orderly schedule
  • Understanding of the technical aspects of the facility to be managed
  • Demonstrated interpersonal relations and personnel management skills
  • Experience developing and working within an approved budget
