Responsibilities:

  • Operate all Cath lab equipment and digital processing equipment
  • Perform duties such as scrub assistant, X-ray equipment operation, and digital processing
  • Contribute to the general operation of the department by picking up supplies, stocking supplies, and keeping the work area orderly
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development to perform procedures on and assist in the care of the adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient
  • Specialize in any of the following modalities with training and active participation: Diagnostic Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Angiography, Permanent Pacemaker Implantation, Automatic Internal Cardiac Defibrillator Implantation

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred
  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a cardiovascular setting preferred
