Rapides Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Echo Technologist to join our team. As an Echo Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including ultrasound machines and ECG devices
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results
- Provide exceptional patient care and education, ensuring patients understand their test results and any necessary follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient test results and medical history
- Echocardiographer Technician certification or equivalent experience
- High School Graduate / GED
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR for Healthcare Providers certification
