Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join their team in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art Catheterization Laboratory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular technology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform cardiovascular procedures, including coronary angiograms and peripheral angiograms
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including catheters and imaging devices
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement patient education programs to promote healthy lifestyle choices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT)
  • 2+ years of experience in a Catheterization Laboratory setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
