Job Title: Quality Inspector I

Ascentec Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector I to join our team in Dallas. This critical position is responsible for providing final assurance to our valued customers that their products meet the highest level of quality and accuracy.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Operate and maintain dedicated metrology equipment, including optical comparators and other precision instruments.
Job Qualifications and Experience:
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret internal and customer-provided mechanical prints, including GD&T.
  • Basic experience with a wide range of metrology equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
  • Visual product inspections, including surface cosmetics of plated, painted, and bare material parts.
  • Experience with operating manual and/or automated CMM is a plus.
  • Generate clear and concise non-conformance reports.
  • Ability to work overtime and be flexible with changing priorities.
