Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert and Penetration Tester Lead to join our team at Sev1Tech. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential security threats to our government customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, with experience working with federal customers. You will be responsible for conducting thorough vulnerability assessments, identifying potential security risks, and providing recommendations for mitigation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments to identify potential security risks
  • Provide recommendations for mitigation and implement security controls
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to develop and implement security strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies
Requirements
  • BA or BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices
  • Proficiency in using security platforms and tools, including Astra Security, Rapid 7/Metasploit Pro, and Tenable/Nessus
Preferred Qualifications
  • DHS experience
  • DoD and/or Intel Community experience
