Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Supervisor, Planning to lead our team.

The person in this role will be responsible for the integrity and advancement of forecasting tools to accurately quantify and prepare for future product fulfillment demands across a global network.

Provides in-depth data analytics for reporting performance metrics, identifying opportunities, loss prevention, inventory positioning, and continuous improvement.

Works cross-functionally with Sales, Procurement, Operations, and strategic customer/vendor partners to provide a flexible demand plan while ensuring inventory positioning and procedures align with corporate objectives.

Directly supervises the production planning team.
Assigns, monitors, and ensures the completion of work assignments and projects.

Gathers data from various sources, then assesses, interprets, and analyzes the data in development of a thorough, accurate, and supportable demand forecast for use in production requirements and financial planning.

Leads Monthly Demand Review (S&OP) meetings to align Sales, Product Managers, Finance, and Operations.
Conducts risk assessments and implements mitigation strategies, including Disaster Recovery Plans

Ensures newly entered or modified sales orders are reviewed in a timely manner and estimated ship dates are provided.

Identifies risks to meeting customer order fulfillment expectations and collaborates with other departments to resolve them.

Ensures the timely, accurate, and effective role-based training of new employees and ongoing training for current employees is conducted as new SOP's, Policies, Work Instructions, etc.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 3 years in a Global Demand Planning role
APICS training or certification is preferred
