Position: HVAC Engineer

Overview:
Paladin, Inc is seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to oversee and enhance the performance of commercial HVAC systems. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation of mechanical and electrical equipment within various facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in compliance with safety standards.
  • Implement proactive measures to minimize downtime through regular performance testing and maintenance schedules.
  • Adhere to all relevant codes, regulations, and company policies regarding building operations and safety.
  • Manage the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical distribution systems.
  • Inspect HVAC and plumbing systems to confirm they operate within design specifications and meet environmental requirements.
  • Respond to emergency situations promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
  • Provide informal guidance and training to colleagues as needed.
  • Coordinate tasks and responsibilities among team members to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications:
  • Required: Extensive experience in commercial HVAC systems.
  • Preferred: Background in testing within an automotive environment.
  • Experience: Approximately 10 years in the field.
  • Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Certifications: HVAC Certifications and Refrigerant Certification.
  • Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining building automation systems.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks such as climbing and standing.
