Project Engineer - LED Solutions

LG Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to support our growing DirectView LED business. As a key member of our Solution Implementation team, you will work closely with certified System Integrators to ensure seamless project implementations from kick-off to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and monitor project implementations to ensure adherence to LG and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate with integrators to review project drawings and schedule installations.
  • Manage project timelines and maximize efficiencies.
  • Provide technical support and training to integrators, technical teams, and internal LG teams.
  • Collaborate with Technical Engineering teams to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Evaluate site preparedness for DVLED and signage installations.
  • Conduct installation and product operation training.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide daily reports.
  • Support marketing activities, trade shows, and events.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree EET (Bachelors Preferred) or minimum of 5-7 plus years of Direct View LED installation experience.
  • Working knowledge of DVLED technology, mountings systems, and proper handling of DVLED modules.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, and design software platforms (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUP, and Vizio).
  • Understanding of A/V, electrical, and mechanical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of IT/Networking/AV.
  • Ability to travel 75% throughout the U.S. with scheduling flexibility.
  • Valid US driver's license.

  • Certified Technology Specialist-CTS.
  • Virtual Production workflow experience.
  • Exemplary interpersonal, time management, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to document and escalate technical and project documentation.
