Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and organized Support Office Coordinator to join our team at Pyramid Healthcare Inc. in Altoona, PA. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our facility, ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $43,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, employee recognition programs, and referral bonus opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the front office of the facility, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Oversee the scheduling of all appointments, maintaining accurate records and communicating with clients and staff.
  • Perform basic clerical duties, including answering phones, mailing, filing, copying, faxing, and typing.
  • Assist with intake process, billing sheets, and correspondence with referral sources.
  • Responsible for check requests, census, and updating intake and discharge logs.
  • Attends staff meetings, takes minutes, and maintains office equipment.
  • Purchase office and client supplies, handling petty cash.
  • Maintains office appearance, cleanliness, and organization.
  • Completes all reports and maintains policy and procedure book.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; administrative assistant/secretarial experience preferred.
  • Strong computer and phone skills, with ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work well in a team environment, handle crisis situations, and maintain professionalism.
