About the Role:

The Director of Federal Government Relations will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to advance Ecolab's legislative agenda and public policy initiatives at the federal level. This includes building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including members of Congress, federal agencies, and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement federal advocacy priorities and strategies to support Ecolab's business objectives.
  • Lead and coordinate external advocacy efforts, including lobbying and grassroots activities.
  • Analyze and monitor legislation, regulations, and trends impacting Ecolab and its customers.
  • Prepare briefing materials, policy write-ups, and issue-specific reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent Ecolab at industry conferences, trade associations, and other events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including members of Congress, federal agencies, and industry partners.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as public policy, government relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in government relations, public policy, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic plans to advance legislative agendas and public policy initiatives.
  • Strong relationships with key stakeholders, including members of Congress, federal agencies, and industry partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Ecolab offers a competitive salary range of $136,200 - $204,400, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
