Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics Electrical Technician Sr to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our service center, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electronic systems on aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members in the testing and troubleshooting of avionics and electronic systems.
  • Conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability of avionics and electronic systems.
  • Repair or replace defective components and wiring to ensure installations meet conformity.
  • Oversee the performance and compliance with engineering changes and modifications as required.
  • Set up and operate necessary test equipment.
  • Document all work performed on aircraft, including daily logs and other paperwork.
  • Enforce company safety regulations and programs, including FOD, tool control, and 5-S.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6 years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field, or 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and 4 years of related experience.
  • A&P license, FCC license, or NCATT certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred proficiency in the operation and troubleshooting of other aircraft systems or disciplines, such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, or structural installations and repairs.
  • APU run qualification and engine run qualification preferred.
