About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Survey Superintendent to join our team at Primoris Renewable Energy, a leading provider of solar energy solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to lead our survey operations and contribute to the success of our business.

Job Summary:

  • As a Survey Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of survey operations, including planning, execution, and quality control.
  • You will work closely with our project management team to ensure that surveys are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of survey principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

Survey Operations Management
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute survey operations for solar energy projects, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Lead a team of survey technicians and engineers to deliver high-quality surveys on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement effective survey procedures, protocols, and guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy in survey data.
Leadership and Communication
  • Provide technical guidance and support to survey technicians and engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Technical Expertise
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest survey technologies, techniques, and best practices to ensure that our operations remain current and efficient.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and industry partners to source high-quality equipment and services.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to develop and implement innovative survey solutions that meet client needs and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., surveying, engineering, geomatics) or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in survey operations, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other survey-related tools and technologies.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
