Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist III to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced maintenance and repair services for our industrial equipment, including CNC machines, hydraulic systems, and electrical controls.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical malfunctions in industrial equipment
Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks with a high degree of quality and reliability
Set up and calibrate equipment on scheduled intervals
Regularly back up process parameters and PLC programs for all equipment
Input required data in CMMS system for machine reliability and control
Implement project objectives on key pieces of automated equipment with minimal guidance
Recommend or initiate modification or replacement of equipment components that fail to meet acceptable operating standards

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
5 years of experience working with electrical controls and mechanical applications in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with aircraft-related production equipment in the aerospace industry
Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley & Siemens Controls preferred)
Background in CNC Equipment (Mazak, Mori Seiki, Fryer, Alpha Harrison, Broetje, Kuka preferred)
Background in GSE Equipment (Hobart, Unitron, Tronair, Lektro Tug preferred)
Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
Working knowledge of replacing spindles, ball screws, linear guide ways, bearings, hydraulics repairs, and precision machine alignments (Laser Alignment experience a plus)
Experience in the alignment of turrets and the installation of ball screws is a plus
Working knowledge of PC-based Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management software

Additional Information

This is a full-time position with a salary grade of N10. The successful candidate will be required to work any shift and must be able to travel none.
