About the Role

Auria is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Systems Engineering (SE) Engineering Manager and Deployment Manager to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting Team Leads in executing their responsibilities by providing training, monitoring, and identifying improvements
  • Leading the Iteration Planning effort in preparation for Iteration Planning Week
  • Reviewing all SE artifacts for both technical content and form/function
  • Advocating for proper SE process and procedures across the C2BMC program
  • Supporting Team Leads in all proposal efforts
  • Tracking, managing, and maintaining the Team's scope, budget, and schedule
  • Supporting SEIT Risk and Opportunity identification and management
  • Supporting SEIT leadership for IETRs and other milestone events, including tracking required OE and associated maturity
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current/active in-scope DoD issued SECRET security clearance, which is required to start
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline preferred from an accredited university and 8 years of related experience, or
  • A Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of experience, or
  • A PhD and 4 years of experience, or
  • 12 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered
  • Proven Leadership Experience
  • Ability to cross-team collaborate and organize tasks and priorities
  • Understanding of how iteration planning works
  • Experience providing and/or reviewing proposals
  • Developing and maintaining metrics
  • Facilitating and providing training
  • Experience implementing Agile principles and Agile Iterative Planning
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within the Missile Defense Agency or with Command and Control (C2)
  • System Engineering Experience
  • Working on large complex command and control systems
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $124,000 - $137,000 based on qualifications, skills, education, and experience.
