Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Patient Access Representative to join our team at Osceola Medical Center. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patients through our clinic, specialty, and outpatient departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform all duties associated with scheduling and registration of patients, including gathering pertinent data and ensuring accurate and complete records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating a cheerful and approachable presence while completing daily tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA regulations at all times.
  • Ensure efficient patient flow by greeting patients promptly and politely, and completing registration tasks in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED/HSED
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in patient access or a related field

Work Schedule:

Monday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Tuesday 9:30 am - 5:00 pm, Wednesday OFF, Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, & Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

One weekend every quarter and one holiday every 2 years
