Job Title: General Adult Cardiology Advanced Practice ProviderJob Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practitioner to join our Cardiology team at Osceola Medical Center. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality cardiovascular care, including patient assessments, diagnostics, and treatment plans, while collaborating closely with our cardiologists and healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessments: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with cardiovascular conditions, including history taking and physical examinations.
  • Diagnosis & Management: Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases, developing and implementing treatment plans.
  • Procedures: Assist in or perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as stress tests, echocardiograms, and patient education on managing cardiac conditions.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, treatment options, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cardiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and develop comprehensive management plans.
  • Follow-Up Care: Provide ongoing follow-up for patients with cardiovascular conditions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical research when applicable.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant program from an accredited institution, required.
  • Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Wisconsin, required.
  • Certification in cardiology, preferred.
  • Previous experience in cardiology or a related clinical setting, preferred.
