About the Role:

Premier Group Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in San Antonio, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading land development and infrastructure design projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Collaborate with our team to manage civil site and land development design, permitting, and construction observation for various residential, commercial, institutional, and municipal projects.
  • Technical Design: Conduct and prepare technical design calculations for land development projects, including storm drainage hydraulic sizing and modeling, water distribution modeling, stormwater control measures, sanitary sewer systems, pump stations, force mains, and erosion control measures.
  • Site Visits and Reporting: Perform site visits and prepare associated field reports to ensure project progress and identify potential issues.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Serve as a point of contact for land development projects, working closely with clients, review agencies, contractors, and internal departments such as planning, surveying, and geotechnical teams.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Professional Certification: Professional Engineering (P.E.) license required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
  • Software Skills: Advanced design skills in software programs such as Civil 3D, ICPR, SedCAD, Hydraflow Hydrographs, Hydraflow Storm Sewers, HydroCAD, WaterCAD, and Autodesk Vehicle Tracking.
