Private Client Relationship Manager II

Citizens is seeking a Private Client Relationship Manager II to deepen relationships with affluent and high-net-worth clients by collaborating with peers across banking, lending, and investing. The successful candidate will provide tailored expertise to a defined book of clients, helping them save and grow their assets in a tax-efficient way, manage debt effectively, secure their income, protect their family, and prepare them to leave a legacy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide initial outreach to facilitate needs analysis and identify opportunities with the goal of acquiring investment and lending relationships.
- Build a comprehensive client profile, including documentation of client's short- and long-term goals, the client's current financial picture, as well as creating an initial gap analysis to identify potential opportunities for the client.
- Transition prospects seamlessly from initial outreach to warm leads for partners.
- Expand and maintain relationships with internal business partners.
- Continually build knowledge and capabilities within the industry segment and stay current with competitive trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in proactive outbound sales prospecting.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Business development experience with a proven track record of identifying and transitioning high-quality introductions.
- Relevant financial services experience preferred.
- Familiarity with consumer lending solutions.
- Familiarity with sales of banking products and services required.
- Experience with investment product referrals and sales preferred.
- Knowledgeable of regulatory requirements to ensure a sound control environment.
- High School or GED; Bachelor's Degree in Business (5+ years wealth management, relationship management, private banking, or other relevant experience, with a proven track record of success).
- Certification/license: SIE, Series 6 (or 7), 63 (or 66), and Life and Health Insurance Licenses.
- At least two licenses required; additional licenses can be obtained within a specific timeframe upon hire.
- Safe Act - successful completion of the required background checks and obtaining a Unique Identifier from the NMLS.
- Hours per Week: 40.
- Work Schedule: M-F.
