Job Overview

The Dominguez Firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mailroom Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our Auxiliary Support department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mailroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process, sort, and deliver mail and packages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare mail and packages for shipment, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
  • Sort interoffice and regular mail by department, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Log and distribute overnight packages, ensuring timely delivery and accurate tracking.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining the mailroom, including inventory management and supply ordering.
  • Operate mailroom equipment, including postage meters, mail sorting machines, scanners, and labeling machines.
  • Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure accurate and complete scanning and processing of mail and packages.
  • Assist with various clerical tasks, including filing, faxing, scanning, sorting, typing, and copying.
  • Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of all records and maintain a high level of discretion and tact.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Minimum one year of experience working in a law firm, preferably in a mailroom or administrative role.
