Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network LAN/WAN Administrator to support the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3. The successful candidate will provide administration of network and communications systems, including LAN and WAN systems, and ensure the functionality of links.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Tier one and two network support in accordance with the SIE OPORD.
  • Administer network and communications systems, including LAN and WAN systems.
  • Ensure the functionality of links and create monitoring reports and manage equipment logs.
  • Coordinate network administration and performance requirements with other members of the networking team.
  • Identify, analyze, and document long-range requirements, and administer resources related to the enterprise network.
  • Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions, including actions, milestones, timelines, and critical paths required for complete solutions.
  • Research applicable standards and requirements documents to assure network compliance.
  • Plan for and provide reasonable responsiveness in terms of network performance (e.g., availability, reliability, and throughput).
  • Prepare activity and progress reports for the Government regarding network performance initiatives.
  • Provide full lifecycle support of LAN and WAN infrastructures.
Requirements
  • A DoD security clearance at the TS or higher level is required.
  • High School Diploma 9+ years of experience, BS/BA 5+ years of experience, or MS/MA 3 years of experience.
  • A minimum of two years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in implementing, administering, performing testing, and analyzing network Candidates must have experience with current technologies and, where required for the task, emerging technologies.
  • DoDD 01-M IAT II required.
  • CCNA OR CC DevNet Associate OR Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA) certifications desired.
