About the Role

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for providing tier one and two network support in accordance with the SIE OPORD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain network and communications systems, including LAN and WAN systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues.
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure network administration and performance requirements are met.
  • Identify, analyze, and document long-range requirements for the enterprise network.
  • Prepare technical implementation plans to provide integrated solutions for network-related issues.
  • Research and ensure network compliance with applicable standards and requirements documents.
  • Plan and provide reasonable responsiveness in terms of network performance.
  • Prepare activity and progress reports for the Government regarding network performance initiatives.
  • Administer LAN/WAN-related network services according to Government policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and implement network software and hardware upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN performance, connectivity, and related network problems.
  • Administer LAN/WAN security and malware control measures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience; OR Master's degree and 3+ years of experience; 9+ years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of four years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in implementing, administering, performing testing, and analyzing network systems.
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance required, must be SCI eligible.

Certification Requirements

  • DoDD 8570.01-M IAT II * AND
  • CCNA OR CC DevNet Associate OR Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA)
