Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team at Peraton. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for providing tier one and two network support in accordance with the SIE OPORD. This position requires strong troubleshooting, analytic, and diagnostic skills, along with good communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Provide administration of network and communications systems, including LAN and WAN systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot LAN/WAN voice, data, and transmission networks and evaluate the effect of architectural changes on them.
  • Network Security: Implement network and security access, configure, update, monitor, manage, troubleshoot, and document routers and switches in the USSOCOM LAN/WAN networks.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate and coordinate with external Government and commercial circuit providers to expedite the restoration of circuit outages.
  • Exercise Support: Participate in and support LAN/WAN exercises.
Requirements
  • Security Clearance: A DoD security clearance at the TS or higher level is required.
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma 9+ years of experience, BS/BA 5+ years of experience, or MS/MA 3 years of experience. A minimum of two years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in implementing, administering, performing testing, and analyzing network Candidates must have experience with current technologies and, where required for the task, emerging technologies.
  • Certifications: DoDD 01-M IAT II required, CCNA OR CC DevNet Associate OR Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA) certifications desired.
