Position Overview

The Quality Assurance Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and quality standards within the organization. This position is essential for maintaining operational excellence and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Quality Control program, ensuring that all processes meet established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance policies.
  • Manage calibration processes and monitor adherence to defined operational procedures, including sampling and competency checks.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and lead investigations into deviations and corrective actions.
  • Recruit and develop team members, conducting performance evaluations and managing employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, as well as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
  • Monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to ensure effective resolution of quality issues.
  • Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role overseeing others, or completion of a recognized leadership development program. Additionally, 1 year of quality experience is required.

Additional Information

Maintain company Technical Training certification and possess knowledge of complex government and industry regulations to ensure compliance.

Financial responsibility for the center is a key aspect of this role.

Working Conditions: This position may involve exposure to hazardous materials and requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
