Quality Assurance Assistant Manager

The Quality Assurance Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and quality standards within the organization. This position is essential for maintaining operational excellence and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the Quality Control program, ensuring that all processes meet established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance policies.
- Manage calibration processes and monitor adherence to defined operational procedures, including sampling and competency checks.
- Conduct thorough analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and lead investigations into deviations and corrective actions.
- Recruit and develop team members, conducting performance evaluations and managing employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, as well as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
- Monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to ensure effective resolution of quality issues.
- Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
Education: A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role overseeing others, or completion of a recognized leadership development program. Additionally, 1 year of quality experience is required.
Additional InformationMaintain company Technical Training certification and possess knowledge of complex government and industry regulations to ensure compliance.
Financial responsibility for the center is a key aspect of this role.
Working Conditions: This position may involve exposure to hazardous materials and requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
