Senior Radiation Therapist

The Senior Dosimetrist will be responsible for generating and administering radiation therapy treatment plans and dose calculations necessary for patient treatment in consultation with radiation oncologists and/or medical physicists.
Key Responsibilities- Generate and administer radiation therapy treatment plans and dose calculations
- Accurately document use of radioactive materials
- Assist in teaching and training students, residents, physicians, etc. in radiation therapy administration and protocols
- Work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Competently operate modern radiation therapy treatment planning systems/software & multimodality image manipulation software
- Valid ARRT and CRT for radiation therapy technology or BS in Physics
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Dosimetrist
- Medical dosimetry certification by MDCB
- Graduation from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Proficient with VARIAN ECLIPSE treatment planning software and ARIA
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or Vietnamese
