Ambulatory Nurse Specialist

Clinical Nurse - Solid Tumor Gastrointestinal Medical Office Practice at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. We seek a skilled Ambulatory Nurse Specialist to provide high-quality patient care in our Ambulatory Care Practice Model. This role involves providing clinical support to staff, managing a caseload of ambulatory GI medical oncology patients, and performing outpatient assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within an Ambulatory Care Practice Model
- Provide clinical support to staff members, and assist with management of a caseload of ambulatory GI medical oncology patients
- Perform outpatient assessment and offer patient and family education
- Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up
Requirements:
- New York State RN license and BSN
- 1.5 - 2 years of oncology experience strongly preferred
- GI and/or ambulatory care experience strongly preferred
Compensation:
- Salary: $121,300-$154,450 per year (based on location and experience)
- Additional benefits include four days of 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 8AM-6PM, and opportunities for professional growth and development in a Magnet recognized nursing team.
