Ambulatory Care Nurse Specialist

The Jamaica Hospital Department of Ambulatory Care is a leading provider of primary and specialty care services in Queens and East New York. Our modern medical facilities are fully equipped to provide comprehensive care for children and adults.
Job SummaryWe are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses with prior outpatient experience for full-time day shift opportunities at our Brooklyn Medisys Family Care Center.
Key Responsibilities- Administer care to patients of all ages, genders, and ailments.
- Document nursing observations, interventions, and patient response to treatment.
- Perform vital signs, administer medications, and assist with scheduling appointments as needed.
- Collect specimens and perform lab tests.
- Review and maintain vaccine documentation.
To be considered for this role, candidates must:
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
- Be a graduate of an accredited school for licensed practical nursing.
- Hold NYS Licensed Practical Nurse certification.
- Have Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Have a minimum of one year of clinical experience in an ambulatory care setting.
- Be available to work alternate weekends.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.
