Job Title: Director of Dining Services

ISH Dining Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Dining Services to lead our kitchen operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the Dietary Department is safe and sanitary, conducting daily inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Plan and implement nutritionally balanced and therapeutic meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents, adhering to Public Health regulations.
  • Direct and supervise all dietary functions and personnel, including food purchase, production, and timely service of meals.
  • Maintain accurate records of food purchases, production, and expenditures, working to meet budget guidelines.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of dietary employees, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Participate in department head meetings and QAPI meetings, contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • CDM certification and a strong understanding of Federal and State rules and regulations regarding nursing home dietary requirements.
  • Graduate of a culinary or nutritional program, with prior food service experience in a long-term care setting and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and adhere to CMS mandate/guidelines for vaccination.

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

1 year of food service management experience required.
