Compensation and Benefits:
*Retention Bonus of $500 after 6 months, $1000 after 12 months, and $1500 after 18 months of employment.

Position Overview:
The Bilingual Therapist at CornerHouse provides comprehensive, trauma-informed therapy services to children, adolescents, and families. This role is essential in a multidisciplinary team that supports victims of abuse and witnesses to violent crime, ensuring that therapy is tailored to the complex needs of those affected by trauma.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver individualized, trauma-informed care to both Spanish-speaking and English-speaking families.
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy utilizing individual, group, and family therapy modalities.
  • Implement trauma therapy techniques, particularly for youth aged 4-17.
  • Maintain accurate client records in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in bi-monthly team consultation meetings and other required clinical gatherings.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination of care across various disciplines.
  • Adhere to legal, ethical, and professional standards as mandated by relevant authorities.
  • Engage in bi-weekly reflective supervision to discuss professional development and case management.

Program Development and Community Engagement:
  • Act as a professional representative of CornerHouse with community partners.
  • Contribute to thoughtful program development initiatives.
  • Enhance knowledge and effectiveness in working with diverse populations.
  • Commit to ongoing education and training in trauma-informed practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement efforts by soliciting feedback from supervisors and clients.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant mental health field with appropriate licensure or in progress.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish.
  • Experience with diverse populations and understanding of multicultural practices.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Awareness of personal privilege and cultural humility.
  • Knowledge of community mental health resources.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and willing to learn new systems.

Preferred Experience:
  • Training in evidence-based trauma therapy methods.
  • Experience with victims of crime and crisis intervention.
  • Familiarity with child protection and legal systems.
  • Clinical supervision experience.
  • Presentation and training capabilities.

Work Environment:

Compensation:
This is a full-time position with an annual salary range of $62,000-$72,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.
