Your Responsibilities:

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, your daily tasks will include responding to resident service requests, executing a variety of hands-on maintenance duties, and ensuring that apartments are ready for new residents. You will also conduct preventative maintenance and oversee the upkeep of grounds and common areas, reporting any issues as they arise.


  • Timely response to resident service requests
  • Execution of hands-on maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and more
  • Preparation of apartments for new residents and maintenance of community grounds
  • Regular inspections of the community to identify necessary repairs or replacements

Qualifications for Success:
  • Practical maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and HVAC is essential.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver's license and a good driving record are necessary for roles requiring travel between sites.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and effective communication in English, both orally and in writing, is required for all job-related tasks.
  • Familiarity with federal and state housing regulations is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, is essential.
  • Availability to respond to emergencies outside of regular business hours is required; a contact number for after-hours communication must be provided.
  • Employees may need to use their own smartphones for certain job functions.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification or diploma from a trade school
  • EPA Section 608 Type I, Type II, or Universal certification
  • Experience in residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail

Compensation:
$29.44 per hour

The starting pay for successful candidates will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
