Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities HVAC Technician Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Boyd Gaming. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance to air conditioning, furnace, plumbing, electrical, and other related systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of air conditioners, including removing or repairing air conditioner compressor units.
  • Install and repair plumbing, electrical conduit and wiring, and parking lot lighting ballasts.
  • Service and repair air handler units, cooling towers, and other equipment.
  • Clear drains using electric rotary action snakes or other appropriate methods.
  • Repair and install new or damaged equipment, including television repairs, ceiling repairs due to water leaks, and lighting repairs.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Prior experience preferred.
  • Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift.
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
  • Must be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
  • Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
