Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Supply Mechanical Design Supervisor to lead a team in designing high-power rectifiers and power supply products. The successful candidate will guide the team to meet deadlines and budgets while ensuring designs adhere to customer specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of mechanical designers to meet company objectives, including budget hours, material costs, and schedules.
  • Design Creation: Create customer and manufacturing documentation using Autodesk Inventor, including bills of materials, part and component models, and assembly drawings.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize power converter designs and reduce delivery time.
  • Design Guides: Develop design guides and work instructions for the team and production floor.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve production floor issues related to mechanical design.
  • Customer Interface: Interface with customers and vendors regarding assigned projects.
  • Design Integration: Interpret assembly and fabrication drawings and ensure integration of internal or supplier capabilities.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Engage with subject matter experts within and outside the company as needed.
  • Customer Engagement: Work directly with customers' engineering groups to improve designs and processes.
  • Professionalism: Maintain professionalism and organization at all times.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the industrial power supply sector.
  • Skills: Strong leadership skills and ability to positively engage with team members, excellent written and oral communication skills, proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office tools, understanding of electromechanical designs and assemblies, ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems, organized, adaptable, and able to follow instructions, customer service-oriented demeanor.
