Job Title: Clinical Medical Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team at All Medical Personnel. As a Clinical Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare providers in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Take vital signs, record patient information, and maintain accurate medical records
  • Prepare patients for exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Administer medications and vaccines as directed by healthcare providers
  • Perform routine tests, including EKGs, hearing, and vision screens
  • Communicate test results to patients and establish plans of care
  • Document patient plans, test results, and examination findings in medical records
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, including exam rooms and equipment
  • Escalate non-routine issues, questions, and concerns to practice managers and healthcare providers

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program required
  • Three months of previous experience in a healthcare setting required
  • One year of Medical Assistant experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Successful completion of an Accredited National Certification Exam for Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
  • Current BLS Certification required upon hire or within 60 days of hire upon approval
